My name is Cristina. I’m a wife and a happy twin’s mother.
I’m from Portugal and Penafiel it’s my city, where my studio is located, near Porto, a beautiful city.

All began making greeting cards until the day I had to create my wedding invitation. It was easier than I expected, and I loved the final result. That’s how my passion for invitations started growing, and it grows every day.

When I created PaperStudio, the purpose was to help brides with personalized wedding stationery, but now it’s much more than that.

I’m happy to help brides in planning, with tips, advice, or finding a great way to help during the journey. 

Now I sell worldwide, and I’m so grateful to all my customers and for the very kind feedback and support. I know that I couldn’t do this without them. Thank you.

Each invitation is a piece of art that I made with passion and perfectionism. All my work is done carefully with excellent paper qualities and finishing quality.

The lace is chosen to be the perfect one, the best twines, the pearls are carefully added to the invitations, everything is checked over and over, so you can receive everything as you expect.

During years I was worried about using natural starfish in the stationery and I was starting to not feel comfortable with that.
One day I decided to not use them anymore and I invested in a professional laser cut machine in order to create my own wooden starfish and create another multiple item that we can do with her.

It took 2/3 months working and testing to create the perfect one. During this process, I started to think that I needed to contact a designer to create them, but I never give up and one day I finally did it.

I use wooden sheets of 3mm and took hours to create 100. It’s the best feeling I could have knowing that I’m saving thousands of them / year.
